IPTV viewing guide for British Columbia
Use this guide to plan IPTV in Vancouver, Surrey, Burnaby and elsewhere in BC. Subscription duration, simultaneous streams and your home network are separate decisions.
Plan for each room
In a Vancouver apartment or a multi-room Surrey home, test Wi-Fi at the TV itself. Walls and neighbouring networks can affect reception. Connect a fixed television or streaming box by Ethernet where possible.
Share your connection
Two, three or four simultaneous streams share your internet capacity with video calls, downloads and gaming. Duo, Family and Premium support those screen counts for 12 months. A longer standard subscription does not by itself establish a higher connection limit.
Check data allowances
For rural BC connections, confirm your monthly data allowance and connection stability. Streaming at a lower resolution can reduce bandwidth use. Test at the times your household normally watches.
Set your programme guide
Use your device’s local time-zone setting and refresh the electronic programme guide after installation. Check the guide’s displayed time before planning a live event. Programme availability may change.
Choose a compatible player
Check your TV or streaming device model and app-store availability. Install a compatible player, enter your activation credentials and load the channel list. App fees, if any, are separate from the subscription.
Compare plans in CAD
Basic covers one month, Max covers 12 months and Max+ covers 24 months. Compare the multi-screen offers for concurrent household viewing. Review subscription details and applicable policies before ordering.
